I’m a proudly disabled woman from Bulawayo who wears so many hats. My career in broadcasting opened so many doors for in disability activities & humanitarian works. People are at the core of my heart.
I strive on Speaking; I speak to a various audiences on disability. I do school talks on disability because I believe if our young one’s understand the dynamics of disability there will be less stigma and discrimination in society. I’m also an advocate for all women with special attention to women with disabilities who’s struggles are mostly bypassed out of ignorance by society.
What inspired me to do what I do is my mother who constantly worked hard to give us a better a life.
Women’s month to me is a time of celebration and a time for lobbying for better spaces for women to be themselves. It’s a time to understand ‘self’ that I can & ‘She can’
